After his death the group was called the Beatles. All the work done from 1967 onwards was said to have been done by the Beatles.

From the Sgt. Pepper album onwards, the remaining Beatles put clues in some of their songs. It appears that some groups contemporary to The Beatles were also putting clues in their songs !
